About Jennifer Smith I am passionate about experiencing God and so energized by His Spirit and His word and I am living proof of His love, favor and purpose on a life surrendered to Him.

During my darkest years, I tried many other “saviors” but found that none could save and satisfy me. In that dark place I learned a beautiful lesson, that Jesus meets us right where we are, accepts and loves us unconditionally and that He has all the authority over sin and death. He has paid my debt and given me new life, one that is immensely pleasurable and satisfying.

Since 2003 I have been freed from the stronghold of drugs, new age, and the accompanying lifestyle of self-indulgence. I now long for everyone I meet to be free from whatever has a hold on them and taste of the Lord for He is good!

In 2007 the Lord prompted me to share what He had done in my life and I began to teach the Women’s Drug & Alcohol Ministry at Calvary of Albuquerque where I would serve for 10 years as the ministry leader. During that time I had the opportunity to develop and co-write the bible study curriculum, THE WAY OUT: Drug & Alcohol Recovery Bible Study for the drug and alcohol ministry alongside Pastor Neil Ortiz.

In 2014 a friend and I wrote Let's Get Real a bible study for hurting women. Soon after that The REAL Conference was born, an annual conference for women who long for healing from their own sin and from the sin that has been committed against them. The transformations I have been a witness to are incredible! I sit on the board of directors and am a speaker.

In 2017, fourteen years after Jesus cleaned me up, He inspired me to create The Way Out 40 Day Spiritual Journey to reach women who, like I was, may not be ready to go to a church building for help but know that Jesus is the answer.

In the years since the Lord restored me, I have found new challenges that women face (while not as dramatic as drugs) can have just as great an impact to fulfilling our purpose here on earth. My passion is to see women find freedom in Christ and be all they were created to be; brave, brilliant and beautiful, walking in their life's purpose. Previously I held a Lunch & Learn where we seek God's unique calling for our lives as we share both the opportunities and challenges career women face. It was business/ life coaching, discipleship group directed by Jesus as we went through my workbook, God's Way to Success.

In 2024 the Lord put on my heart to create a monthly luncheon to replace the now defunct Faith@ Work luncheon for women. All women are invited to enjoy lunch, networking, fellowship, and a motivating Biblical speaker every month.

I have been humbled and blessed to speak to diverse groups of women including the Navigators Faith@Work, Stonecroft Christian Women's Connection, The REAL Conference, Women Discover, Hot Topics, halfway houses, drug rehabs, women's ministry events as well as several appearances on God Answers Prayer TV show and Words to Live By national radio show.

When I am not doing ministry, you'll find me doing ministry working in my businesses as a realtor with Realty One and as a color consultant with Color Smith .

On the personal side, God's grace has redeemed my relationships and given me more than I could have ever imagined. My husband Steve and I met in 1999 when he was in Albuquerque playing a show with his rock band Bar 7. Both of us were prodigals at the time, but by the grace of God he and I have been married since 2005 and serve and love God together. He now serves as the discipline leader of the bass on the worship team at our church. It’s been a wild ride, but I live and breathe Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
