 Life can bring seasons of ministry demands, family challenges, unanswered prayers, and deep personal grief. Drawing from the honest struggles and enduring faith of Job, this encouraging message will explore how God meets us when our strength is gone and circumstances are beyond our control. 
Through the lens of Job’s story and the realities of personal testimony, we will consider how God invites us to bring our honest grief, questions, and exhaustion to Him. Together, we will reflect on the gift of lament, the courage to persevere, and the steady hope found in God’s faithful presence. Being held together does not mean having all the answers or appearing strong; it means trusting that God is with us—and holding us—through every difficult moment. 
Come ready to receive encouragement, renewal, and hope for whatever season of life you may be facing.

Meet Susan
Susan Swafford is a Bible study writer, speaker, author, and ministry leader who serves as the founder and director of Broken from Silence, a Christ-centered healing ministry that helps women release the burdens of guilt, shame, grief, and silence connected with past abortion experiences and embrace the freedom, forgiveness, and restoration found in Jesus Christ 
Rooted in the redemptive love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ, the ministry creates a safe, hope-filled path for women to move beyond silence and toward healing, restoration, and renewed purpose. Broken from Silence has also equipped and trained individuals and ministry leaders across the United States, Africa, and Australia to compassionately and biblically serve women carrying abortion-related pain. 
Susan is the author of Broken from Silence: Helping Women Be Set Free from the Guilt and Shame of Abortion and Draw Near: Experience the Fullness of God. Her writing and teaching reflect a deep belief that no heart is beyond God’s reach and that His presence brings healing in the places where life has left people wounded, weary, or overwhelmed. 
In her message, “Held Together When Life Feels Overwhelming,” Susan draws from the honest struggles and enduring faith of Job, along with the realities of personal testimony, to encourage those walking through ministry demands, family challenges, unanswered prayers, and personal grief. With warmth and authenticity, she reminds audiences that being held together does not mean having all the answers or appearing strong—it means trusting the faithful presence of God, who meets us in our questions, exhaustion, lament, and need.
